In my own opinion, Melissa would go for the company that she can take advantage of a higher incentives since her main motivation is a higher salary. The incentives affect her decision of choosing the financial analyst post at a large corporation because of her personal needs and wants. Possibilities that she's supporting a family or wants to take further studies or probably travel to different countries. Melissa would not look at incentives or higher pay as motivator when there's sufficient or abundant cash flow and would consider following her passion as a grant writer for a non-profit organization.
