I think that the author would probably agree with choice B. The reason I believe that he/she would agree with that choice is because it is the most reasonable. Even thought choices A and D sound right and easy you would actually be practicing the act of conformity. Conformity is actually what choice B states, it's dangerous because it makes us small and stay put in the same place. Have you ever heard about getting out of you're comfort zone? The reason people because say this is because people stay in places where it is easy and safe which is fine but what isn't fine is that you never get anywhere. Conformity like an anchor which means you're safe from being dragged into the sea but you stay there. What if there was danger nearby? The anchor will make you stay put and the longer the anchor is there the more heavier and harder it is to get it out because the sand buries it in. In actual life, conformity mean you are fine with things that are right. But, it also means you're fine with all the wrong things that never to change. It makes us act like zombies because you're fine with everything and how things are. Conformity takes away change, mistakes, growth, and experience from our lives after a certain point. It makes us lifeless if we do it 24/7, that's why conformity is both good and bad which the author would agree upon.
