Help me please I don’t understand:(
Found throughout the United States, grayish-brown whitetail deer primarily inhabit the woods of the Midwest. In the northern Wisconsin
woods at evening time, however, casual observers may be surprised to sight a ghostly white version of the species—the albino deer. The antlers,
hooves, noses, and eye rims of albino deer are a pale pink rather than the traditional black coloring found in non-albino deer. Pale blue eyes
provide further contrast against the bright white fur. Only 1 in every 20,000 whitetail deer possesses the recessive genes that cause albinism.
While the rarity of albino deer intrigues many humans, their unique coloring increases their vulnerability in the wild. Ordinary grayish-brown
deer blend in exceedingly well with the surrounding woods. They are nearly impossible to spot when standing still. Albino deer, on the other hand,
become easy prey for coyotes or other predators. Their coloring makes them highly visible against any backdrop. Poor vision also negatively affects
the albino deer's ability to locate food sources and escape dangerous situations. The genetic anomaly which prevents them from producing dark
coloring, or pigmentation, creates additional risks. For example, sun exposure poses a greater harm to the albino deer, especially to the retinas and
skin. Albinism, therefore, presents hazards to animals despite its perceived aesthetic beauty.
How do the structures of each paragraph mainly work together to present information about animal albinism?
O 1. The first paragraph focuses on the regional habitat of albino deer, while the second highlights specific characteristics of woodland
habitats.
2. The first paragraph focuses on external features of the albino deer, while the second explains the scientific basis for the genetics of
albinism.
3. The first paragraph uses imagery to create reader interest in albino deer, while the second compares the albino deer to other
animals with albinism.
4. The first paragraph describes physical features of albino deer, while the second clarifies how these features contribute to the
vulnerability of the albino deer.
