[tex] p^{2} -14p=5 [/tex]
Add [tex]( \frac{-14}{2})^{2} [/tex] on both sides;
[tex] p^{2} -14p+( \frac{-7})^{2} =5+49 [/tex]
(p-7[tex] )^{2} =54[/tex]
