Mrs. Miller and her class were spending the day at an amusement park. Mrs. Miller pointed out that the first hill is always the tallest and that all the other hills after that are not as tall. She asked her students why they think this was the case. Her students stated that the roller coaster does not have enough energy for bigger hills. When Mrs. Miller asked, “ where does the energy go?” these were her students’ responses:

Answer:

Pam

Explanation:

Pam is correct because energy is never created neither destroyed. Energy doesn't disappear, it simply is transformed into something else. In this case, some energy was transformed into sound and heat, because of that there isnt enough kinetic energy for the roller coaster to have another hill as high as the first one.
