Not all movies are exactly the same as the books they may change things in the movie or play to make it more interesting to watch. I watched where the red fern grows and read the book the ways the dogs were was different in both and many other things were also different. You also cannot have thoughts in movies so if a character is thinking or thinks something in a book it will not be portrayed the same in the movie as the book. I did enjoy how fun it is to see a book made into a movie and to note all the similarities and bring to life a character. But some things in the book were good and they were not in the movie.
