CO + 2H2 → CH3OH

Explanation:

Would originally be:

CO + H → CH3OH

But, the equation isn't balanced on both sides considering there is 1 hydrogen in the reactants and 4 in the products.

so it would be:

CO + 2H2 → CH3OH
