Andrew Jackson passed the Indian Removal Act for the Indians to relocate out of our land west of the Mississippi River, so it was possible open new land for settlement by citizens of the United States. I think that Jackson did the right thing. We've claimed our land, it's time for the Indians to move out. We need more area for our settlements, we're slowly populating America. Like they say "get rid of the old to make room for the new".
