Set both y’s equal to each other.

2x-1 = 3x+4
2x-3x = 4-(-1)
-x = 5
x = -5

Plug x = -5 into any of the given equation. I will use the first one as an example.

y = 2x-1
y = 2(-5)-1
y = -11

Answer: (-5, -11)
