Your family is interested in coming out with you to a mission, and your brother the pilot even wants to fly sorties for you, but nobody else in your family is a CAP member. If they come out to support a mission, would they be covered by the Federal Torts Claims Act (FTCA) as you are because you are a member?
The reason is that Federal Torts Claims Act (FTCA) covers only CAP members which are acting within the scope of their duties. It will not cover any family members who want to support a mission.
