1. What is your major research question?
Can too much electronics be harmful for teens ?
2.Write one paragraph on this topic make sure it is argumentative
I will not write the paragraph for you, because I know you can do it!!! I will give you some reasons for why it is harmful, and you can do the rest :)
Stance: Too much electronics can be harmful for teens
Reasons why this is true:
1. It takes up a lot of time that could be spent doing other activities (ie exercise, studying, socializing face to face, ect.)
2. For many teens electronics = social media. Spending lots of time on social media can create unrealistic ideals, which will lead to low self-esteem
3. Parents aren't always able to monitor what their child does while using electronics. This can lead to teens using electronics in an inappropriate manner
4. The teens focus so much time on the screen that they don't pay attention to what goes into their mouths. They also move around less often. This could lead to unhealthy habits or obesity.
5. It leads to teens being dependent on the electronics. This can create dangerous habits, like texting while driving
6. It can lead to technology addiction
7. Teens aren't as interested in real world relationships
8. It can lead to sleep deprivation since the teen may spend most of the night looking at a screen
3. Name 3 experts who have studied this topic?
a. Amy Orben b. Andrew K. Przybylski: Together these psychology professors from Oxford Universaty wrote an article called The association between adolescent well-being and digital technology use
c. Doreen Dodgen-Magee: She is a psychologist who wrote a book called Deviced!: Balancing Life and Technology in a Digital World.
d. Adam Alter: A psychologist who wrote a book about technology addiction. It is called Irresistible
Hope this helped! Let me know if you have any further questions!

Answer:
Yes electronics can be harmful to teens because Teens who use electronic devices for more than two hours per day report significantly more mental health symptoms, increased psychological distress, and more suicidal ideation. Children using devices for more than 2 hours per day have increased risk of depression, and that risk rises as screen time increases.
