First, count how many numbers are in the group.

There are 12 numbers.
Now add all the numbers together: 

$( 28+48+55+23+43+7+22+16+24+35+28+19 )$ 

= 348 

Now divide the sum by the number of numbers: 

$= 348 / 12$
