NEED HELP STARTING A MEDIEVAL STORY ABOUT A GIRL NAMED Eve.

She helps her dad (who works as a swordsman), dangerous job, finds beast along way, steals him/saves him, assassins kill father due to classified info, now hunting for daughter because she has necklace good. shes on the run.

I guess you could put the story in the girl's pov and start the story w/ an onomatopoeia or something and make it as tho she's in her father's workshop and from there, start telling the reader the girl's name and what she does and where she lives ect...

You could start it off by saying, "Normally, I would be in the sword shop right now, eating sandwiches and helping my dad. But, here I am in the forest, trying to save my life from a beast! You could also make the beast the pet of the assassins and maybe that's why the father was killed instead of using the reason of "classified info."
