Let f(x) = −8x^2 − 5x and g(x) = 17x^2 + 11x. Find f(x) − g(x).

-8x^2 - 5x = 17x^2 + 11x (solve as simultaneous equation)
0=25x^2 + 16x (factorise into brackets to find x)
