However, as the story progresses, we see Scrooge have a change of heart as he meets with the ghosts of different time periods (past, present, and future). In addition to seeing the outcome of different time periods, Scrooge gives some of his wealth to Tiny Tim's family to make sure they have a good Christmas. When Scrooge does this, not only is he feeling good about helping someone else, he realizes that maybe he doesn't have to be so uptight and greedy and can share the wealth to benefit others.
