Nonpoint source pollution (NPS) is the pollution is caused by rainfall or snowmelt. This water moves over and through the ground, it picks up and carries natural and human-made pollutants and deposits them into lakes, rivers, wetlands, coastal waters and ground waters.Point source pollution on the other hand is a single source of pollution from which pollutants are discharged (a pipe, ditch, ship ..). NPS is more harmful than point souce pollution because it is difficult to be regultaed. (Solution B).
