The similarities between the U.S. states that border Mexico are that these states share similar weather conditions in its different regions. Most of these states are inhabited with Mexican people that share a common language and traditions, like family traditions and culture from Mexico. Another similarity is that there are many tribes reservations in the border states like the Navajo people in Arizona or the people from Pueblo, New Mexico.
The differences are that the mixture of the Anglo-Saxon culture with Hispanic culture makes daily life a Little bit difficult. Distances are an issue that sometimes makes trade difficult. Culture is another difference. The way people in Texas think is different from the way people in California think.
