The Holocaust happened because they were generally wealthy and Hitler didn't believe that they were as good as anglo whites and he needed a target for his campaign, a group of people to blame it on. I think that people have bad experiences with certain groups of people, therefore leading them to a misconception that all of the people in that race or any group is bad. For example black people in America are usually given a much harder time than white people, with things such as systematic racism and others, all because they used to be slaves, it takes a while for everyone to change, and some people refuse to give up what they believe is right. We have and can put in more laws for equality and civil rights for everyone, but there will always be that one group of people who thinks that they are superior than everyone else of another race/sexuality/gender.
