Read the two fictional conflicts below. Using complete sentences, explain how the differences in setting might affect the protagonist.
Story A: A boy gets caught stealing an apple in a crowded high school lunchroom.

Story B: A boy gets caught stealing an apple in a four-person lifeboat that has been drifting at sea for three days.

Respuesta :

In Story A, since the room is more crowded, less people are going to notice that the person got caught stealing, therefore there is going to be less drama and the protagonist will not look as bad. Whereas in the second story, the people on the boat are most likely very tired and probably haven't eaten very much so they are more vulnerable to getting angry or should I say hangry, so the protagonist could be beaten or looked at very poorly in that setting.

Answer:

Story A had a more crowded area so people are less likely to notice that a kid stole the apple but in B its a less crowded area and people are most likely looking for another boat or anything to save them so they are distracted but will find out anytime soon. They both have people that might not notice then but in one, one person might notice.
