[tex] x_{2}= 3[/tex]
[tex] y_{1} =14[/tex]
[tex] y_{2}=4 [/tex]
[tex]Slope= \frac{rise}{run} = \frac{ y_{2} - y_{1} }{ x_{2} - x_{1} } = \frac{4-14}{3-1} = \frac{-10}{2} =-5[/tex]
