covert 12.64 g NaOH to moles

To calculate moles, use the formula Mol = Mass/ Mr.... Mr of NaOH is 23+ 16 + 1 = 40.... Mol = 12.64/40 = 0.316

no of moles = mass/molar mass
mass = 12.64 g
molar mass = 40 g/mol
no of moles = 12.64/40
no of moles = 0.316 g
