I think its becasue Females have 2 X chromosomes to choose frm and males only have one x chromosome so its automatically dominant to the Y
Answer: The frequency of X linked disorders is greater in males as compared to that of females. This is because the males have only one X chromosome which is affected.
In case of females, there are two X chromosomes out of which one can be recessive which is affected and other one can be dominant so the dominant character will be expressed.
This is the reason males have more frequency of X-linked disorders.
