The gold rush was a very unique event in history. One thing about the gold rush is that so many people moved to California that there wasnt enough gold to be spread around. Due to people packing up and leaving the East to go west to find gold they couldn't just turn around and move back. People would try to find jobs like mining to see if they could find gold. Due to this new outbreak there was lots of new diseases being spread around from when people were traveling and people who already had colds. Something I else I would write about would have to be is that there was no law system to run the people. Everyone carried out thier own justice.
