Urine or urea is formed by the filtration of blood in the kidneys of human body.
The kidneys of human body is responsible for the filtering of unwanted substances from the blood and production of urine which can be excreted from the body. Nephron is a functional unit of the kidney which produces urine in the process of removing waste and excess substances from the blood.
There are about 1,000,000 nephrons in each kidney of human body. The capsule and glomerulus together formed the renal corpuscle. The renal corpuscle is a filtration unit of vertebrate nephrons, functional units of the kidney. It consists of capillaries i.e. glomerulus which is surrounded by a double-walled capsule called Bowman's capsule that opens into a tubule.
