She cried, hot tears running down her soft, pale skin. Minutes pass, maybe even hours, who knows when you don't have any source of communication. She sat there under the bed for what seemed for forever until there was a knock at the door. She didn't move. Then came a bang at the door. She was frightened, her body trembling as the banging kept going. Then the door clicked and just as she thought she was dead, the door never opened. The fumbling of the door knob could be heard but no such luck. The door saved her.
