He believes that it is the U.S job to protect countries that can’t protect themselves. They said they can interfere in any time when Latin America needs protection. It was way to force them to pay their debts. It was to be nice to countries but if they didn’t give them what they want they would force it. There was also something called the Big Stick Policy which was part of the Roosevelt Corollary. It was a quote used for the frequent intervention to Latin American countries. The U.S acts as a “police force” for Latin American countries
