Each of the 10x2 rectangles are 20 inches in total, and since there's 4 that would be 80 inches for the smaller rectangles.

The top of the smaller rectangle would be 75 inches.

The bottom would be 100

The longer sides (or the 8x5 rectangles) of the rectangular prism are 40, and since there's 4, that would be 160.

The top of the rectangular prism on top is 25.

Add it all together. (Sorry if none of that made sense.)

80 + 75 + 160 + 25 + 100 = 440.

The surface area of the design is 440 inches.
