How does the left lung differ from the right lung?

The right lung is wider and shorter whereas the left lung is narrower and longer. The right lung includes three lobes whereas the left lung includes two lobes. the main distinction between the right lung and the left lung is that the anterior border of the left lung consists of a deep cardiac notch while the right lung is straight.

  • The proper lung has 3 lobes, the left lung has 2 lobes. the extent of air moved in or out of the lungs for the duration of a breathing cycle.

  • The left lung has two and the proper lung has similar balloons full of sponge-like tissue. each lobe gets air from its personal branch of the bronchial tree,
  • however, they all have the equal feature: bringing oxygen into the bloodstream and casting off carbon dioxide.
