Respuesta :

Answer:

D.  Encourage a syncretic religion called the "divine faith" that all could embrace.

Explanation:

Akbar started Din-i Ilahi, it was a unified religion promoted by Akbar .  It was meant to merge elements of all the religions of his empire to reconcile the  religious differences of his courtiers. Most of the elements were from Hinduism and Islam. Some elements were also  from Zorastrianism, Christianity and Jainism.

He promoted tolerance of other religions and encouraged religious and philosophical debates. An Ibadat Khana ( " House of Worship") was created to encourage religious and philosophical debates.  He repealed Jizya in 1568. From the discussions held at Ibadat Khana he found that no religion could claim to be superior to others.  Din-i Ilaahi was called Tauhid-i-Illahi in Akbar's period.

The major feature of this religion was that there was no one was forced to accept it ,  there was no punishment, no reward or religious institutions.
