Answer: Warren G. Harding

Warren Harding served as the 29th U.S. President from 1921 until his death in 1923. He was very popular but after his death, his reputation tarnished when Americans found out about the criminal activities of some of his cabinet members and other government officials, although he hadn't engaged in any wrongdoing. These 1920s corrupt activities were known as the Teapot Dome scandal

The main focus of the scandal was the accusation of Albert Fall, a former Secretary of the Interior, for having accepting bribes from oil companies in exchange for exclusive rights to drill for oil on federal land. The lands were reserves at Teapot Dome in Wyoming, and two other government-owned sites in California.

Other Scandals were poker-playing politicians, illegal liquor sales, a womanizing president and a bagful of bribery cash delivered on the sly.
