The gravitational force can be defined as the phenomenon by which two objects are attracted towards one another.

These objects are the terrestrial bodies found in the sky. Example: stars, galaxy, planets et cetera.

On the earth the gravity acts on the physical objects and adds weight to the objects.

The two factors that determine the gravitational force between objects is the mass of the object and distance between the two objects.
