How do I phrase this better for a thesis statement? “Helping the brain sort through information, reflecting emotions, or serving no purpose at all are all theories of why we dream”

I would put something like...
“There are several theories of why we dream, including the reflection of emotions and encouraging the brain to sort through information, or maybe for no purpose at all.”
Just something that shows that main idea and that stats with what you are trying to explain in your essay.
