Strange as it may seem, any light that you can see or measure ... including the light that dribbles into telescopes from distant astronomical objects ... is always traveling at the "speed of light" ... roughly 300 million meters per second. The speed or direction that the source may be moving makes NO DIFFERENCE.
I know it doesn't make sense, but it's true.
