–2 – (–8) ÷ (–1) = –2 – 8
= –10
Therefore, this is not true.
Expression J: –12 ÷ (–3) – 20 ÷ 2
First do division by BODMAS rule.
–12 ÷ (–3) – 20 ÷ 2 = 4 – 20 ÷ 2
= 4 – 10
= –6
This expression has a value of –6.
Hence it is true.
