He then saves twice as much as he did the previous day for a total period of two weeks. How much does Christopher have saved by the end of this time period?

 Best Answer:  to get it out of your head, the $20,000 dollars is not important as he will not save that much 1+2+4+8+16+32+64+128+256+512 +1024+2048+4096+8192=$16383
