Why do we say ich habe Hunger? Coz it sounds weird.​

Because translation in English is “I’m hungry”

even though it looks like three words it’s not it’s

kind of hard to explain even I don’t really understand

These are our auxiliary verbs.
Maybe it helps you = the feeling of hunger- people HAVE it
Thats because we say „ich habe hunger“
