The following are the steps that a society can take to avoid scarcity:

• Make optimum use of the resources by determining how much is needed to satisfy the temporary need of time and avoid wastage.
• Form dedicated teams to supervise the use of resources and penalize wastage if any.
• Run preservation and conservation drives and similar activities for the protection of the available resources.
• Motivate the public to cultivate and grow the necessary resources.
