A bouquet is thrown upward.
a. Will the value for the bouquetâs displacement be the same no matter where you place the origin of the coordinate system?
b. Will the value for the bouquetâs velocity be the same?
c. Will the value for the bouquetâs acceleration be the same?

Respuesta :

Answer:

Explanation:

When a bouquet is thrown upward then the value of displacement or distance will not change with co-ordinate system.

For example if a particle start from [tex]x=1\ m[/tex] to move [tex]x=7\ m[/tex] in certain time with (0,0) as origin then the displacement is given by

Displacement [tex]=7-1=6\ m[/tex]

If co-ordinate changes to [tex](1,0)[/tex]

then displacement is [tex]x'=1-1=0\ m\ to\ x'=7-1=6\ m[/tex]

displacement [tex]=6\ m[/tex]

Value of velocity will remain the same irrespective of the origin of the coordinate system

For example, if an object is thrown upward then its velocity up and vice-versa.

The value of acceleration will be the same i.e. acceleration due to gravity will be acting downward.
