DNA and RNA are an integral part of the process of cell differentiation. Though all cells have the same DNA molecules, each unique type of cell utilizes specific genes on these chromosomes to perform its function. These specific genes are turned on and off according to the cell's function. So, although the DNA is the same, the RNA, and thus the protein molecules, produced by different types of cells are not the same.
