Monochronic cultures treat time as something extremely important and valuable, is an important tool that brings order to their lives. On the other hand, polychronic cultures do not consider time to be that important and have the tendency to tolerate events occurring simultaneously (love to multitask) and they are usually late. Polychronic people start doing something and before finishing that activity, start doing something else, and then leave the new activity and return to the old one.
