A rebellion toward the Ottoman government started in Herzegovina in July 1875.
Through the Russo-Turkish war of 1877–1878, in 1878 February the Russian soldiers had nearly approached the Ottoman center but, terrified the capital strength fall, the British sent a fleet of warships to threaten Russia from enrolling the Ottoman capital.
