The hay Pauncefote Treaty allowed the US to construct and have full control in managing and regulating a canal. The Hay Bunau-Varilla Treaty established the Panama Canal zone and subsequientially the construction of the Panama Canal.

The  SpanishAmerican War was an allied war fought between the countries like Spain and the United States. It was started from the internal explosion and was mainly in the Havana Harbor in Cuba and intervened in the Cuban war of independence.
