My perception of a teacher/coach is that he should be able to teach well and and be polite and friendly with students. he should also master his stuff well before attempting to teach or coach. while most students perspective I believe is they want a teacher that is funny and overlook some things like not doing assignments, playing while teaching or coaching is going on and some other activities that will not make them work hard.
