From the 90's till now the society has just went down hill, There is more arrests, school shootings, sui cides, i mean no wonder why people are questioning today's society.
In 2010 the arrest rate was 80% higher than in 1990. In 1990 the drug possession arrest ranged around 400 for women a year and 600 for men a year now it ranges around 800 for women and 900 for men. For juvenile arrests for drug possession the rate was around 200 a year in 1990 now it ranges around 400 or higher. The total arrest ranges in 1990 was around 10,000 and now it ranges around 15,000 a year. The society we live in is taking a tole for the worst and these examples/facts can prove this.
In 1990 the number of school shootings was around 163 a year and now in 2020 it ranges around 426 a year. That's 263 more school shootings now than in 1990. In 1990 that society was better for the people, environment, the world really. In Colorado the number of school shootings since 1990 is 13. The number in Tennessee is over 10. Society is getting worse while we speak we have to do something about it or its just going to keep falling apart.
The sui cide rates keep going up, and its not going to stop until we do something about it, so help stop sui cides not make them happen. The sui cide rate in 1990 was about 400,000 a year but now it has risen to about 600,000 a year for women. For men the suic ide rate in 1990 was about 1,200,000 and now it has risen to about 1,400,000. The su icide rates for teens in Colorado has risen by 58% from 1990 to now. Suic ides will keep rising if we don't do anything to help who knows how high it will be.
From 1990 till now society is gone for the worst, think about if its this bad now, how bad can you see it being in 20 years, 30? If this doesn't show you how bad our society is getting then i don't know what will but we need to make a change or who knows what our society will look like years down the road.
