Respuesta :
More animals decomposing means more microorganisms and bacteria are respiring, therefore more co2 is being produced and contributes to increasing co2 levels.
This affect the amount of co2 in the atmosphere the decomposition of organic matter, releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
What produces carbon dioxide?
The decomposition of organic matter, that is, the decomposition of the bodies of living beings after their death, also releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Another process that releases large amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere is the burning of fossil fuels, such as oil and coal.
After being assimilated by living beings, carbon returns to the environment in different ways. It is released into the atmosphere through respiration, in the form of CO2, one of the end products of this process. The decomposition process also has CO2 as one of its products.
