Introduction- Depending what type of essay you are writing (argumentative, persuasive, informational, etc) your intro will be different. A basic intro consists of your three reasons that you will later on use in your body paragraphs. Be sure to add a “hook” at the beginning to grab your readers’ attention. Choose some cool facts from the text to add even more interest. Always wrap up your intro with a sentence that leads into the next paragraphs.
Body Paragraph- Depending what type of essay you are writing (argumentative, persuasive, informational, etc) this paragraph with be different. Always use transition words. Make sure to use evidence and elaboration that relates to your topic. Add plenty of vocabulary words but make sure you use them correctly. Wrap up this paragraph with a nice closing sentence. Continue this for next 2 body paragraphs.
Conclusion- Restate your 3 reasons and make sure to tie something from the intro into your conclusion. Elaborate a little just so it sounds more organized and planned. Add a closing sentence that leaves your readers wanting to read your essay again, but in a good way.
