The are able to have access to proper healthcare and are therefore expected to live longer.
Studies have also shown that an higher income also contributes to a decreased likelihood of disease and premature death. Those that re low-income earners have higher rates of diseases and illnesses such as stroke, heart disease, diabetes and chronic disorders than high-income earners.
