Describe the Age of enlightenment and how it changed the roles of the citizens and their government

Respuesta :

The enlightenment was best described also as the age of reason, where leaders began opening their ideas on what their empires could truly be. A few world superpowers started moving away from absolute monarchies and started moving towards governments with multiple branches. The enlightenment also brought around a lot more equality for women, and there were salons where enlightenment thinkers could go to express their ideas freely. The enlightenment change the roles of citizens by making their part in society a lot more open ended and made it able for them to express themselves freely. Not completely freely yet but lots of people started to feel more comfortable in their countries.
