I would reccomend this:
1) highlight seemingly important facts
2) look up all the words you don't know immidiantly. Even if you've just heard of them, when you learn what they mean it will be like reading a kindergarten book
3)if you're allowed to write in the book, put a small summary in the margin. This way when you see those words in a quiz you'll assign your memory to you highlighting and writing the facts.
**Pro tip: chewing the same flavor gum while studying and during the exam will trigger the facts you read while studying.
