The audience knowing something about the drama's characters and character doesn't is an example of Dramatic irony.
Dramatic irony is an irony in speeches or drama, wherein the audience is aware of something about the character but the character does not grasp about it.
For instance, in the horror drama, when the character enters the room, the audience is aware of the killer in the house but the character is not.
